We don't have millions of dollars coming in like Barak, Clinton, or Rudy. But as Todd believes, money does not win all of the votes. The average American does not donate all this money, it comes from a small percentage of the voters. We are reaching out to the average American. The person just like Todd and myself. Look into your hearts people, Todd would make a great president. Can we say the same about any of the candidates? So lets say this happens, as it probably will. Lets say Todd does not win, now you have a president in the white house who owes all of the people who made donations to them. This is why they all make such big donations. And i truly believe that money can buy the white house. This is a disgrace America! This is why other countries have lost so much respect for Americans and American policy. It has really become a joke and must be changed.

What about the Electoral College. Republican votes meant nothing in the 04 election if you lived in a state like New York. Is that right? Why should a vote be worth less because they live in a state that is strongly controlled by another political party? The electoral college should be taken away and it should go back to something like popular sovereignty. Popular sovereignty This doctrine came out during the debate over slavery in the territories. Popular sovereignty said that the people of each territory should be able to decide for themselves if slavery should be allowed in their territory when it became a state. Okay so we no longer use this to vote on the issue of slavery, which was obviously wrong in every way possible but we should give the power back in the hands of the people. This is also a thought of Thomas Hobbes, probably the best know political philosopher of all time. His social contract is still looked at to this day.

This is something that Todd supports. This is just one of the many things that I and Todd have been discussing. This is a policy that we agree will make America a better place.

Nice

Nice support people. When supporting a high standing individual such as Todd A. Lemieux for president it takes much commitment. The nights are long, because for some reason you find all the good stuff at night and just can't stop working on your website ( well for me my blog). I hope that all of my "hard" work can be appreciated on this blog along with the official Lemieux2008.blogspot.com blog. Both sites now offer subscriptions. This allows you to receive an email when new information has been added. I hope that you all take advantage of this feature.

Another cool feature that i recommend is Google Reader. This will allow you to have all of the updates come up on one page. You can set as many blogs on there as you would like, more like this one and lemieux2008, but I leave the ultimate choice up to you.

I have been getting multiple viewers directed from a friend of the campaigns, Clare. I would like to thank all of you who support the campaign with links on there own personal blogs and websites. Your generosity will not be forgotten or under appreciated. Every viewer helps.

Remember everyone, do we really think that we have a chance at this? No. There is no way that a Catholic School teacher from New York with no real political backround could ever wake up one day and decide that he/she is going to run for president of the United States of America and actually win. Hey, the all so famous Stephen Colbert could not even get on the South Carolina ballot after being given the key to the city, had a day dedicated to him, and having his own nightly television show. The point of this campaign is that there is no viable options to consider when it comes to the 2008 election and we want to change that. Now there officially is a viable option to consider. The rest is up to us. He is here and willing to be our Commander-in-Chief, now we have to go out and get him some popularity. Show the world that a man like Todd A. Lemieux, can gain support and can make a difference.

Lets start with this. Lets get him mentioned on a major television show. Even if they are mocking him. Did Brother Kenneth get down when Colbert made fun of him on television? No he took it as good publicity. So lets get Todd A. Lemieux mentioned on a major television channels show. Hopefully it will be, hey look at this guy he could actually make a good president.

So get out there and spread the word!

Want to help?

Want to help this man get elected but don't know how? Well since at the moment Todd A. Lemieux is not accepting campaign donations, why not do yourself and him a favor. Buy his book! A percentage of the sale goes straight to him, which in turn, helps in the ever so high cost of running for president. CLICK HERE to be directed to the website to learn more about the book, 100 Things Every Catholic Teen Should Know. It is a great book that comes in handy when you think to yourself, hm I wonder what the Catholic viewpoint on this book is. This book is not only great for teens but for anyone who does not know everything about the Catholic faith. Have a good three day weekend, and have a great Veterans Day. Maybe take the extra day off to buy this book...

Happy Birthday

I would like to take this opportunity to say Happy Birthday to our Presidential Candidate!

Happy Birthday and Good Luck!

As you can see I added a lot to the blog tonight.
Now you can subscribe to it as a feed or put your email into the box. Todd A. Lemieux, the founder of the Universal Political Party, has my vote in the 2008 presidential election. To find out more about Todd please refer to www.lemieux2008.blogspot.com

I have the utmost respect for this man. He would make an absolutely great president. The United States does not need another graduate of Harvard or Yale. What we need is someone more down to earth that has more real life experience and Todd A. Lemieux has that.

More information to come.
